Pre-Flooring Checklist
Furniture Moving & Storage
Before any flooring project can begin, it's important that all floors are clear of furniture or any obstacles. Hudson Floor Group provides furniture moving service as well as short-term storage for those homes that simply have no space to store furniture.
Wood Repair
Before refinishing or restoring your hardwood floors, it is very important to repair any damaged wood floor planks before sanding begins. It is also important to secure any loose planks or planks that move up and down. This will ensure a perfect hardwood restoration.
Baseboard & Shoe Moulding
When installing new floors or refinishing existing, installation of baseboard trim and/or quarter round shoe moulding is required to finish the edges of your wood floors. We offer the option to install new moulding or we can salvage & reinstall your existing.
